Even Arch - my object of experiment - is high on bummiboot (and a little lukewarm on syslinux, my UEFI enabler of choice) Unfortunately for me the problem is not a lack of choice in UEFI boot software but what I perceive as a "bug" in the board UEFI firmware logic by its not retaining the entry for a USB drive as opposed to a hard drive. (to summarize, with my UEFI Ubuntu hard drive after the cable disconnect and reconnect action, its entry in the UEFI listing reappears. Not so with the USB drive) Anyway, I'll make a note of "bummiboot" in my iWatch "Reminder" :) Cheers, -- Alex
