I'm having trouble getting gtk-doc to compile. I get the message: configure:

googling, and all the references I found said something like "misconfiguration
of Docbook-xml and / or -xsl.
Where should I look ?

Have you run the commands in "Configuration information" (of
docbook-xml-4.5)? That's where DTD v4.3 is stored in the XML catalog.
