Yes, inkscape too is moving everything off sf.

*many* variations of sf URLs, and their action on gimp and other
packages means they are no longer a recommendable site for binary
packages.

Unfortunately, some source packages are still there and so we will
have to continue linking to those until each developer changes where
they keep things.

I have to agree. I've run into many problems with sf. These include being redirected to very slow mirrors and rewriting of url requests so figuring out the correct url for the book is not easily done.

Other problems are probably due to maintainers. They include things like putting spaces into file names or directories and not updating the "Latest' tag on the top of pages.
