I didn't think of that.  I do have Centos-6.6 installed on my i7,
planning to use it for some virtualization experience.  (Again.
Finally.  I was system programmer/administrator on a an VM/SP-4
mainframe in '85, a dual processor w/ (eventually) 8MB of memory.)

For the most part I've been using --disable-nls when offered.

Not so much expecting THAT, but it's one of the things that's really
expected to be there.  <shrug>
