Greetings, I have never managed to get my latest blfs/kde-UI to open usbsticks. I have reverted to using mount on the command line. I am using kde-4.14/systemd-213 I do not know if its polkit/polkit-kde/or systemd.
( When I plug a usb stick in I keep getting --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Failed to execute process "mount" no such file or directory ( g-exec-error- quark, 8 ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I desperation I am planning to update to the latest versions of systemd//polkit and have another go at fiddling with files in /etc/polkit-1/rules.d. So I am trying to update systemd from systemd-213 to systemd-224 ( http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/systemd/chapter06/systemd.html#contents- systemd ) The latter needs additional groups described here ( http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/systemd/chapter06/createfiles.html ) So I need to create groups with names such as systemd-journal-gateway systemd-journal-remote systemd-journal-upload unfortunatelyy these nanmes seem too long and the /usr/sbin/groupadd command fails. Advice would be appreciated sincerely LuxInteg -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
