What's wrong with the sysvinit scripts? Of course it is your system,
but I'm curious.
Nothing's wrong with them exactly. But I find it difficult to import
other init scripts. For example, I run a server called bitlbee. When I
tried to use install_initd bitlbee, it whined about no script providing
$remote_fs. I couldn't figure out where to get a script that provided
remote_fs either. I imported that original bitlbee script from Debian,
however, so that could have been the problem.
Upstart just looks easier. Systemd looks like it's rather labyrinthan.
