They are already selling self-driving cars, Mercedes and Tesla (> $100 grand). You just keep one eye on the dashboard gadgets and the other on the road. The hands close tight to the wheel just in case the thing seems to be confusing a light pole ahead with something very light or so. Maybe one day they'll build a self-building system where if it does GLIB it picks Python 3 and if GOBJECT-INTROSPECTION Python 2 for you.
