I've changed the resolution in framebuffers - my mac G5 with nvidia used to come up with some enormous default number of rows and columns on 1600x1200 (possibly 200x100, I forget) and on radeons I have used both 800x600 AND 1024x768 - and on one of those I also changed to a 12x22 font. It isn't a problem - it's the user's system, he or she can decide what suits. ĸen -- I had to walk fifteen miles to school, barefoot in the snow.
