Thanks Ken and Bruce, if I will have time I'll try to collect info on build order ad packages.

So my question is, will BLFS authors consider to include a complete set of
KF5-PIM apps in a future release? Have suggestions? Waiting 5.7?

It needs somebody who uses those apps, and people who can find fixes
for the problems when those problems get reported. When I have
looked for fixes for specific error messages in kde, the suggestions
seem to be very distro-specific (i.e. a fix solves the problem on
one distro but not on another), and google often finds the same
error messages over several years, and sometimes even for kde4).

Personally, I think you are lucky that kde5 works for you - for some
people it works fine, but others of us have been unable to get it to
work. For the moment I have given up trying to get it to work for
me (too many other things to do, and I never found many useful kde
applications, only okular is on my list of "nice to have" [ konsole
is ok, but I prefer other terms, and dragon was not too bad when I
last had it working ]).

We lack editors and active contributors to the lists who help with
debugging user problems and eventually find a solution, so we are
limited in what we can do. Yes, there are some contributors who
provide help and suggestions, and my thanks to them.

ĸen (still not back to editing, trying to fix minor but annoying
issues on my new server, and resuming my investigation of fonts).
