Thanks for that - it's nine years old and it looks like the problem
has only just hit me.
Hmm. The link I got was 2003 -- 13 years ago. I haven't had the problem
at all. The cables I have seem to be secure to the connectors and the
connectors are not particularly loose in their sockets. Actually they are
a bit tight from my view point, but not overly so. Some of mine have a
metal attachment to firm the connection, but generally I haven't run into
the problem. The connectors are keyed so you can't put them in backward.
I've had bigger problems with the power cables and ethernet cables than
the SATA cables.
