I think there are several gnome applications which produce those
messages in my non-gnome systems.  On that basis, midori is becoming
part of gnome - I've long-since stopped using midori, but I don't
think those messages are important in *any* of the applications
which produce them - storing the settings, whatever they might be,
does not seem to be important - at least outside of a gnome desktop.

So, I suggest run it directly (F2 on some window managers) to not see
the annoying messages.
