On the back of the recent Midori startup errors thread, I would like to
note that
Mousepad-0.4.0 also shows the same message when compiled as described in
the current
blfs sysv development book, i.e: "...memory GSettings backend...not be
saved..."
As a consequence, it also fails to save the preferences.
I also don't have gnome installed as I use Xfce.
Instead of going down the route of installing dconf I decided instead to
configure
Mousepad with the --enable-keyfile-settings option and now Mousepad
creates a
file in the ~/.config/Mousepad folder which keeps the settings.
