again i am getting the same error.when i installing xorg section i
followed BLFS 7.9 and suddenly BLFS 7.10 is updated so that i am facing
this incompability errors i need to again to install each package.can i
continue with BLFS 7.9? or BLFS 7.10 ? any suggestions?
I don't think you need to rebuild Xorg to 7.10 book to get vlc to build.
The last error you posted was "recipe for target
'libqt4_plugin_la-qt4.lo' failed". What version of qt are you using? The
instructions I gave worked for me with 5.6.0. You can try adding
--disable-qt to configure to see if it is just a problem with qt.
