In the introduction to GNOME Chapter 33 systemd version 7.10, it says:

The objective of this section is not to build a GNOME desktop, because it
depends on Systemd, which BLFS doesn't support. Rather, it provides
packages required for some platform independent GNOME applications to build
and run properly under any Window Manager (e.g. Fluxbox, Icewm, Openbox,
Sawfish), or Desktop Environment (e.g. KDE, XFCE, LXDE).

The same message as above is shown in sysV.

But systemd is installed, and the gnome desktop package is avaliable for
installation (gnome-desktop-3.20.2
<http://linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/stable-systemd/gnome/gnome-desktop.html>),
but sysV has it also, but a lot less other packages.

Could someone clear this up for me?
