That's right. I tried GTK-2 and the configure script whined a lot
about missing packages, so I appended
--with-gtk=3.0
to most of the components. That caused most of the whining to go
away.

That's what I ended up doing, and it all installed okay from there.

I don't know why gtk-2 is whining though.
It might be because I did not install gtk2 until after I had
installed gtk3, but I'm not sure.
