I'll add this to the Command Explanations section at my next commit, but it
should be noted that we assume that all users have the recommended
dependencies installed when updating packages. I think we have a policy in
the book somewhere (not in front of my PC currently) where we state that
Recommended dependencies are dependencies that we assume are installed, but
may need special switches to disable if the user doesn't have them
installed.
