Looks like I only managed to send that to -dev, I thought I'd
replied to all.  Summary: the static rust site doesn't let you
search for what it contains, and on error it just returns some xml.
That does have a meaningful message within it, but I missed it (it's
like trying to read html in a plain-text mail client).  I think I
must have omitted the src part of the filename.
