libuuid comes with util-linux from LFS.
It is advisable to search libraries (and programs) built in LFS and BLFS from Indices
in the end of both LFS and BLFS books. For example, you could have found libuuid by
scrolling to the end of LFS book, choosing the ‘Index’ link
(<http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/stable/longindex.html>) and
searching for libuuid.
