Yes, it happened with glibc-2.26. But looking back at my notes from
last August I only saw problems with icu and strace. Not sure if
strace was related or different, but using the latest version
pparently solved it - I suppose I hadn't updated my local version
for a while). And possibly libxslt needed a similar fix.

I can't see any mention of this problem in libreoffice in my notes,
but using the symlink is probably fine.
