However, quite a lot changed in LFS-8.2 : openssl-1.1, Python3, libffi moved into LFS and meson, ninja were added to LFS (I think they were in BLFS before that, but not used by most packages - now freedesktop and gnome are moving towards meson). But that doesn't explain why your c++ builds are failing. I don't bother to update mesa on older systems, but AFAICS it ought to be buildable. ĸen -- Before the universe began, there was a sound.
