When I try to build gtk+-2.24.32 I get an error that says could not load './apple-red.png' . I researched and found out that it is a problem with gdk-pixbuf, I have the loaders.cache file in /usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/

I still experience the problem even if I have the loaders.cache

If you expect assistance from the mailing lists you need to learn to provide the EXACT error message lines that the compiler outputs.

 

Also do NOT top post EVER as it destroys the threads.
