Hallo,
I have now compiled everything from BLFS that smells like "input" (but
leaving out VMware, Wacom etc. stuff which I don't own) and I'll retry
again.
I can confirm it works now ;).
[ 1896.036] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "C&CTECH
Semiconductor CCTCH USBKVM® 1.00" (type: KEYBOARD, id 10)
[ 1896.056] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "C&CTECH
Semiconductor CCTCH USBKVM® 1.00" (type: MOUSE, id 11)
After fiddling a bit I even found out how to configure german keyboard
layout (as I said I'm a beginner regarding GUI configuration).
Anyway, I'm so happy, I used my self-compiled firefox for the first time
and it worked ;)
I additionally compiled the following packages which means they slipped
through the dependency build of jhalfs when configuring Xorg.
xcb-util-image-0.4.0
xcb-util-renderutil-0.3.9
xcb-util-wm-0.4.1
libevdev-1.5.9
mtdev-1.1.5
xf86-input-evdev-2.10.6
libinput-1.11.3
xf86-input-libinput-0.28.0
Thanks again for helping!
Tschau...Thomas
