Hi,

I have a problem that I cannot "unlock" sucessfully in the gnome control panel
because it cannot prove the current user is an administrative user.

Here are what I get from my investigation:

1. According to the Polkit manual (
https://www.freedesktop.org/software/polkit/docs/latest/polkit.8.html ) , it
seems that I did not set the correct polkit rules for the agent.

2. I checked the file /etc/polkit-1/rules.d/50-default.rules and found that
only "wheel" group members will be reported as administrative user.

3. I checked the build instructions for AccountsService and found that the
group for administrator accounts is "adm".

Therefore, should I modify the build instruction for AccountsService to set the
group for administrator accounts is "wheel" ?

Also, do I need to do additional PAM configuration for gnome ?

Thanks.
