That *appears* to be the case, but who knows.

Meanwhile, there was a report (as I noted on -dev), that
 https://github.com/intel/Intel-Linux...0190514.tar.gz is the
location, and certainly at some point when I was looking around, my
browser had it in its address bar.  But of course it doesn't
connect.

DOH!  The github pages can be hard to navigate, but from the
Intel-Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-Files page, NOT at the top,
there is a link to 2 releases (above the individual current
directories).  And the web page seems to be designed to not be
pastable.  The following URL works for me:
