Update, for those who don't read -dev.

Pierre has pointed out an error in my build of xorg-server.  I'm
sure that with that corrected the future intel builds will work
fine.

But for my ati/radeon and amdgpu machines that is not the answer.
Doug has now pointed to a hack for using xorg-server's own
modesetting driver with rootless xorg, and the ati/radeon and amdgpu
drivers use a similar root-only code path (unlike intel and nouveau).
With that the rebuilt server now allows me to run rootless X on my
current amdgpu machine.
