In line with what was recently discussed on this list in relation to trying to perform software based OCR on an image etc. I just found some software called Printkey on Inthane Grab Bag: http://grabbag.alacorncomputer.com/
It's basically supposed to be able to do something along the correct lines so that you can basically do a screen capture, using the Printscrn key, and end up saving the OCR version into a word document or something. Only problem is that I've been fiddling with it today, and I can't quite figure out how to use it along with Jaws etc. etc., and even though I've gone to the website mentioned in the 'about' box, and looked through Google, I haven't really found any documentation/instructions etc. Was just wondering if any of you guys have used it before and know how to get started. It seems to basically save the original image it captures into a file format called .mdi (MS document imaging), and then carries on from there, but like I said, I can't quite figure out how to get further.
