Hi Julie, Try this: Get the brand and model number of your cd burner, and check the Nero website for a list of compatible cd drives. In the early versions of Nero burningg rom, it did not support all drives, in fact by comparison to other programs, it did not support many. If it is not supported, you may be able to download some drivers from the cd drive manufacturer's website, that will allow it to work with Nero. Also, make sure that your cd burner is being recognized by Windows. You can do this by going to, My Computer", and looking for your cd burner in the list of drives. If you have no luck with Nero, you might check the audio page at: www.blind-computing.com to see if there is a program that fits your particular needs. What would cause an older version of Nero not to recognize a cd-burner from a 2004 computer? I know that David wrote to me and said he used Nero 6.0-ultra with Jaws. I checked and version 7.0 is available but had heard it doesn't work well with Jaws. Any help appreciated. Are there any free cd-burning software available? Thank you.
