In jaws you can use the skim reading function which I believe will do the 
very thing you wish.

I think he is wanting to locate all of the instances of a particular word, 
within a document,
and then have those results displayed in a list view somewhere.

O yeahI do this all the time. Hit windows key plus F and tab to all files
and folders and  hit space on it. Now fill in what you want, choose the
folder you want to search and hit enter.
