Personally I've played around with NVDA a few times and am quite impressed. I don't know how fully functional it will end up being as it is only at version .05 right now. Still for somebody who needs to access various systems that belong to other people every once in a while it gets done what I need it to do so far. I've been playing with SATOGO for a month or so and have been very favorably impressed. I've actually come across a couple situations where I couldn't save settings in an Excel worksheet in JAWS but was able to read the thing with SATOGO. There was a bug for a while where the voice would change back to the default unexpectedly, but apparently that's been addressed. I think this is a tremendously significant development in terms of providing access for visually impaired people to information.
