Hi All,
One of the things I think I should have to change with this new install
of OE 6 with IE 7 is sending options for plain text. I had planned on using
the same settings in OE 6 that were on my Win 98 machine, but, now, I can't
get the thing to talk and sighted assistance is not available. I thought
I had saved a message with the settings for both the plain text radio
buttons in send under options in the tools menu, but I can't find them any
more. Does anyone have them? The might be on the home page for the list,
but I haven't found out how to set up IE 7 to work best with JAWS and I
couldn't find the instructions if they are there. Even Control-F seems to
have changed.
Also, with the old hard drive, some sighted folks over the age of 40 had
asked if I could increase the size of the font they see in my messages. I
figured out how to do it back then, but can't remember how to do it now.
This post may not reflect it, but, hopefully, I have both font size buttons
in compose under options in tools at 14, which I hope is nice and large for
them and for folks on the various blindness lists who have some vision.
If I haven't messed up, Ariel is the font type. I've never seen it-is
it readable and looks okay? Sighted assistance is not available to check
for me. I THINK Word 2000 is set for Times New Roman.
I'm more concerned with the font size the recipient sees since a smaller
size doesn't matter to me as long as JAWS can read it.
Thanks,
Margaret
