Well thanks to Annette on the JAWS Users List for telling me the out going protocol everything is fine and he is up and running. Just so everybody knows here are the in coming and out going protocols. in coming server name mail.verizon.net out going server name outgoing.verizon.net Make sure to check the box that says my server requires authorization.
It figures they would have to be different than everybody else on the market. That's what I did. However, don't go onto their home page and try doing it yourself, because their web page doesn't work well at all with jaws. Its very poorly designed for screen readers to work wellwith. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, August 26, 2007 12:04 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] configuring a Verizon email account > We're not working with high end tech people unfortunately.
