Hi Steve. A page Break is actually a character. I don't know how they're
put into a document but removing them is certainly going to be an
interesting challenge.
Try this for starters. I'm not sure it will work. But find a page break,
then copy that to your clipboard.
Next, open your Find and Replace function by pressing Control F. Paste the
saved clipboard into that Edit field.
Now, there are a lot more things Find and Replace can do than the default.
If memory serves me, one of them is a replace field. I believe that if you
type a space in that field, then go to the Okay or Find Next option, it
might go through the entire document and eliminate all of those breaks. But
are you sure you want to do that? You'd have a continuous document which
would be much too large and cumbersome to be used effectively. So, after
you have removed all of the Page Breaks, try this. Why not arrow down until
your Jaws declares the next true page. Those page indicators are built in
by your page settings. Then press Enter. Keep doing that until you have
divided the document into real pages, not artificial ones set by the
original document. Then save your work. That's one thing the old note
takers like Braille 'n Speak and Type 'n Speak could do well.
