The code is actually compatible but unfortunately instead of being stand 
alone files as in earlier versions they at least for me needed to be 
embedded in the main IE script file. So if you are able to copy the source 
code in there and assign a hot key like I had to do then the answer is very 
much yes. It always does me some good to find out that people take the time 
to listen to those tutorials up on the site, thanks for that.

Hi David I heard your podcast on basics of script writing on the jaws-users 
site and you mentioned that there are scripts for ie that allow the user to 
hear the progress of a download and that's it not all that other garbage you 
hear when you hit insert-b.  Are those scripts compatible with jaws 8?
