Hi, go to Start, Control panel, and press enter on User Accounts. Tab to change an account and press enter on that. Now tab to the account to which you want to assign a password, and press enter. Tab once, then down arrow until you hear, "create a password", and press enter. Type your password in both fields, type a hint (optional), tab to OK and press enter. If you are asked if you want to make your files and folders private, that's up to you what you choose. Now close user accounts and Control Panel. To test out the new password, select start, then log off. Press enter on the log off button. Now type in your password when prompted, and, if all goes well, your password will work not only for your log ins, but also for your screen saver. Hope that helps. Could someone please give me instructions on how to create a password for my screen saver? I was told that your screen saver password had to be the same as your log on password. I do not have a log on password. So, please let me know what I need to do, and how to do it.
