Dear Chris

How annoying.
This did happen to me once but the problem disappeared when I rebooted the
computer and has not reappeared. Have you tried a reboot?

I have Office Pro but I do not think this should make a difference. You
could copy your error message and search under Microsoft Knowledge base.

In practice when I have had problems like this in the past with other
software I have found a reinstall of the software solves the problem and can
be quicker than researching solutions.

Hope you can over come this annoyance. Sadly in my experience what works
perfectly on one system can infuriatingly not always perform on another but
Microsoft should be pretty standard and work in most cases.

Someone else might be able to give more concrete advice.

Regards

David Griffith

Eh? I can't send anything to Word. I did the correct steps, and I get an
error and asks me to check that Word is installed, which it is. I have
Office 2003 Standard. Thanks in advance.

Hi David. I agree with this. I used to use Cicero but found it not very
good. At least with document imaging you can get a better scan when you've
sent it to Word.
