Hi,

When you scan something and go to save it and after you give it a name...tab
one time and you have a list of options to save in whatever type you want it
to be. The default is the .ARK but you can choose other formats such as .TXT
or .Word even and you can choose to have the saved scanned document sent and
saved in your documents for easy finding later if you choose.
I had to call FS on just how to go about getting this done using Open Book
7.2 for instance...

1. Give it a file name
2. tab to the file type...word, txt so forthe
3. tab past the save button and go to up one level and spacebar it till it
says, desktop
4. Now do shift-tab back past the name of your file you just scanned till
you hear "my documents" not selected and spacebar it
5. Then you have to enter on this right after you spacebar it for some
reason according to FS instructions
6. Now tab to the save button and spacebar it.
You should hear your name of your file and the long path name that has saved
it to your documents.
Of course you can go to your documents and find the scanned file there saved
in the choice of your selection weather it was a .txt, RTF, or Word it
should be there.
