Hi there. This is sort of related to web development, even if it's more of a bit of built-in functionality related to web browsers.
Either way, a friend of mine who has his own website has a form on there which is basically submitted via e-mail. Basically, the action of the form is a mailto: including his email address and the ?subject=... thing, so it is basically supposed to build an email automatically using the form content/components. When I test it on my machine which is running Windows XP pro, and IE7, it works fine even though there are two sort of popup dialogues asking if I want to carry out the possibly 'insecure' operation. Basically, first IE asks me, and then Outlook Express also asks if I want to send it. If I say yes to both of them, the message ends up in my outbox until I do my next send/receive. Anyway, the specific problem is that on two machines running Vista, the mail never seems to be sent, and there don't really seem to be any prompts popping up either. Do any of you guys know if this is a setting that needs to be changed or something like a prompt in the status bar that needs to be checked out - or even something like the file download/install prompt that you normally hear, and then access using Alt + N? Alternatively, I've sort of offered to help him redo the form functionality using something like PHP etc., but obviously, it would be better to initially get it working the way it is at the moment.
