Dear David I installed AVG this last week and decided to purchase straight away. Every thing seems fine and interestingly found 5 threats that Nod32 had not picked up on with its system scan.
The control centre reports that all the components are up to date and that firewall Anti Spyware and so on are working. I have not tried going into the components as I am taking the attitude that if it is not broke do not fix it. Focus on the Control Centre is a little erratic and I sometimes have to use the Jaws Cursor to read but this may be a Jaws issue as Jaws 8 has not been consistently well behaved on this new machine. Using XP Pro and last release of Jaws 8.
