Hello

You have somehow pressed the I Google button on the main Google search
page. Unfortunately Google remembers that you have done this and assumes
that this is what you want to see every time you visit Google. Another case
of annoying over programming.

I got rid of it by running a utility called Cyber scrub to clean out all my
Internet history cookies etc. You may be able to get the same effect by
going to the Tools Option in IE7 and selecting delete browsing history. -
Deleting cookies - browsing history etc through these options may cure your
problem.

In theory you should be able to sort this out with Google Preferences but I
spent ages searching this page and could not see an option to get rid of the
accursed I-Google.

You should finally make sure that you are referencing to a vanilla pure URL
to access your Google search - that is www.google.com,
Or www.google.co.uk. Doing this by itself will not solve your problem
though and I think deleting temporary internet files is your most profitable
route.

Hope this help s and best of luck

David Griffith

Subject: [Blind-Computing] WHAT HAPPENED TO GOOGLE

Hello group. It's been a while since I was on the Google page. When I went
there, I didn't recognize it at all. I couldn't find the Search field. It
used to be right at the top. Has anyone had any experience with this? The
site now reads IGoogle instead of just Google. Has there been some kind of
merger?
