HI Lisa.

You said you have service pack 2 already, but the Windows Update site
doesn't make updates available to you that wouldn't apply to you. I don't
mean to insult your intelligence, but I wanted to clarify something. When
you said that you have service pack 2, did you mean that you have service
pack 2 of Windows XP, or .net framework? Again, please forgive this
question; I realize it sounds condescending.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Should I install this windows update?

Hello everyone,
I usually install all of my windows updates, but this particular one I'm not
too sure about. Below I have pasted the information about the update. It
says it's for service pack 1, and I have service pack 2. I'm not sure if
that will make a difference, or not. Any feed back on this would be greatly
appreciated! Here is the windows update information.

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 resolves various issues found
after the initial release of .NET Framework 1.1. These include both
security- and non-security-related issues. After you install this item, you
may have to restart your computer. Once you have installed this item, it
cannot be removed.

Take care,

Lisa
