Hi Patricia, Your best bet in any case, is a security suite. If you are connected thru a network router, you have a hardware firewall, which is better protection than a software firewall. Having a software firewall, never hurts, and there are still some free ones out there, I believe. With a hardware firewall, you could probably get by with the windows firewall, it just depends on your level of paranoia. HTH, Richard Q.
