Turn on file and printer sharring on every machine and then go into each folder that you want to share individually and set the sharing permissions. You may experience some problems accessing file on the Vista machine from the XP machines but not the other way around. Frank

I have a desktop that is connected to the internet through a router using an Ethernet cable. I have a printer hooked up to the desktop. I have two laptops that connect wirelessly. I want to be able to share the printer and the files. The desktop is running Vista, and the laptops are running XP. How do I do this? thanks Nimer J Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/BlindComputing.php If you wish to join the JAWS Users List send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/BlindComputing.php If you wish to join the JAWS Users List send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
