Thanks for the link to a very interesting site. I use Jaws 8 and found the page pretty accessible and well structured. Hitting Insert F6 brought up a good list of headings to navigate by and this should be possible with Jaws 7 as well. This avoids the need to go through all the links and provides a good summary of the page. Pressing H will jump you to the next heading as well.
The site author seems to accept that the sequencing may be confusing for new blog readers. I copy below what he says on the page in case you missed it. Regards David Griffith For new users of blogs, at the risk of stating the obvious, everything is in the reverse order from that of a "normal" journal or diary. If you want to pick up Harry's story and follow it properly, it may make sense to start with the first archive, July 2006 and to work forwards to the present, January 2008 (Actually January 1918.) To make things even more complicated, each archive is also in reverse order - the latest material appears first! To completely understand Harry's experiences, may I also recommend that readers follow the Battalion's War Diary explaining the situation of the 1,000 or so men that made up the 9th Battalion York & Lancaster Regiment. There is a link at the top left of the blog. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mich Sent: Saturday, 12 January 2008 03:10 To: blind-computing @jaws-users.com Subject: [Blind-Computing] help with a blog hi all. those of you who are in to blogging and reading blogs. I have a question for you. I herd about a blog about a WWI solger named Harry Lamin. I took a look at the sight http://wwar1.blogspot.com/ I am confused since it seems like the new info is at the top of the page and the start of the blog starts at the bottom. I am not really sure how to Navigate the sight since there are a lot of links. I am wondering weather some one who is familiar with blogging and reading bloggs using jaws 7.0 can help me out with this? Many Thanks. from Mich Verrier from New Liskeard Ontario Canada.
