Hi Folks,

On this Vista thread, I am also having a problem playing audio files with
Windows Vista Business Edition.

I have installed Winamp on the machine, and when I enter on the file to
play, instead of the file playing right away, it gets added to a playlist.

The more I enter on files, to play them in Winamp, the more files get added
to the playlist.

I have tried using the applications menu to see what the first choice is,
and, surprisingly enough, the first choice is include in Winamp, instead of
the customary open.

The Playlist gets bigger and bigger as I go along, and the original playlist
is never cleared.

On the applications menu, the open choice is there, but it's three or four
options down.

I have checked the preferences, and I have even removed Winamp from the
shell, but it still appears there.

Is there a way I can modify the applications menu so that the file opens as
the first choice?

I am using Winamp 5.52, the newest version, with Windows Vista Business
edition.

I don't think the version of Jaws I am running on it matters, as my wife
gets the same problem, even though she's sighted, but if it means anything,
I am using a trial version of Jaws 9, the newest build from the FS website.

Any help would be appreciated.
