If you are going to invest in any wireless devices, choose the G standard, because it doesn't limit you to one specific brand of devices. The N, standard, has not been standardized and adopted by all hardware manufacturers yet, and therefore limits you to available devices supporting itd. Wireless N standard is just coming out. It is just in a form like beta. Most laptops do not have this, but yes, it is better, much better. If you want a laptop to get fast wireless speeds, you want to get a laptop that supports the wireless standard. Otherwise, don't get the expensive router, as the standard may change by the time the new release is ready.
