Hi Jason, If you are trying to open this attachment from within Outlook Express, try this: First, save the attachment outside of Outlook Express next, navigate to where you saved it, and then once you have the attachment selected, hit the applications key to open the context menu now, arrow down until you find, open with, and press enter. this should give you a list of applications to choose from you should look for something like Microsoft picture and fax viewer, or paint, etc. Any program that will handle .jpg files. Alternatively, if you know of a program on your system that will work with picture files, then open that program and use the, open, dialogue in that program to browse for the attachment you saved. Hi list, a family member sent me a photo as an attachment in outlook express. When I press enter to open the attachment, I get an error message. The error says something like "there is no program associated with this file, select a program, or choose one from the options menu in the folder". The file has a .jpg extension(I think it is). I usually just hit enter and photo attachments usually open. What program should I associate with it, and where and how do I do this? thanks Jason. I am using XP home, Jaws 8 and outlook express.
