Hello Lisa.

Here's my opinion. I rip my CDs at 192 kbps, 44,100hz, stereo, mp3 version
1, that is Lame MP3 encoder version 1.30, engine 3.93 MMX, MPEG I. the
reason I choose 192 kbps is because it's more faithful than the popular 128
for certain types of recordings, especially classical and other recordings
where you might encounter very subtle differences from one part of a musical
peace to another. To me, 192 Kbps just sounds the best without making the
files too big. It's the minimum at which I rip any CDs to mp3. I hope this
helps.
