Hi, are you sure that your USB headset is stereo? Do you have the plug in the right connector on the sound card? Have you tried the headset in a stereo, CD player or some other audio player?
I'm thinking that maybe your headset is not stereo. You may need one of those analog adapters that you can get an electronics store, such as RadioShack.
