Hi.
just went to the burkeley university site, and a guy is developing an
accessible drawing package called Inter Communication Draw 2, where
you use a palate , draw from one end point to the other end point,
and then able to label the graphics, and he is using java.
and he is doing this for his phd, has any one heard how this project
is going, and when it will be possibly commercialised?
would also like to be a beta tester for this project.
Professor James Landy of the Electrical Engineering and Communications
Technology Faculty was helping him out, and he started off this
project, as was frustrated, with not able to show illustrations on a
thesis he was doing, and the sighted transcriber, did not know what
they were doing as well.
so , out of frustration, he developed this project with a team of
fellow students.
did try e-mailling him about five years ago, but only got one
response, and that was in 2002, and his name is Hasheme Camille.
do you know of hims, and if so, how can i contact him or Professor
James landy about this project?
cheers marvin.
