Hi Victor, and Mich,
You need to know what folder in Outlook Express the message is in.
>From the sounds of it, it is stuck in your In Box.
Once you know this, use the Windows search utility, and search for the
following on local disk C:
*.dbx
Of course, if for some reason your operating system is installed on a
different drive, then you would need to perform the search on that drive.
Once you have found the .dbx in question, delete it.
Now, reboot the computer, and try Outlook Express again.
The folder you deleted, will be re-created when the computer is re-started,
and Outlook Express is opened again.
Note:
Any messages you had in that folder will be lost, and this one reason that I
recommend that users do not store messages in Outlook Express.
If the folder you delete is one that was not created by Outlook Express,
then you will most likely need to re-create that folder once things are
working properly again.
Give this a try, and we'll go from there.
HTH,

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Friend Needs Help with OE

Hi Folks,

I'm forwarding this from Mich, who seems to be having a pickle of a time
with Outlook Express.

I hope people can help.

Worse case scenario, if he doesn't see the messages, I'll give him a call on
the telephone.

Victor
